The homeless shelters located in Orange County are unable to provide for the 35,000 people that were reported homeless in 2007 which included many families. Scott Hays reached out to Mark Miller in order to have homeless musicians participate in recording a benefit CD for the Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach. Part of this was not only to help the homeless but to also educate the public and show them that the image people typically have of the homeless is not always true. This project was produced through Orange Coast College Film and Video Department thanks to faculty advisor Bob Lazarus.
